Once a symbol of prestige for an old bourgeois family in Blonay, the estate was passed on to another lineage after a devastating fire in 1904. The remnants of an 18th-century cellar bear witness to its historical heritage, while Blonay jealously preserves its vineyards, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007.
Spanning 4.5 hectares of vineyards, Domaine Barichet extends downstream from the village, proudly integrated into the “Lavaux, Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée” designation. The estate’s two distinct terroirs, born from the heights of Vevey-Montreux and composed of red molasse or ancient moraines, bestow upon the emblematic Chasselas grape two profiles of exceptional crus, elegantly reflecting the richness of this Vaud terroir.
